aka Snow on the Tracks…. all seen between 1215 – 1330 today, 1st December 2010. The tank train hauled by 66118 was apparently running from Kingsbury to Bescot where the loco would run round the train and head back to Lindsey, possibly due to weather-related problems at Kingsbury Junction. The first track machine seen was a railgrinder heading east. This was followed by Colas tamper DR 73929. 6D44 had 66090 + 66196, 66955 was running light to Lawley Street, and the bird skulking in the bushes was a Dunnock. Freightliner 4L68 passed as I was leaving, with a 66/5 heading the train. One of the few videos of mine that I actually like…
