Maris Stella College OBA UK Branch Annual Dinner Dance 09 – ‘Stellas Night’ The MSC OBA UK branch 7th Annual Dinner Dance was held at the RnB Banqueting Hall in Kingsbury on 27/06/09 in style. Throughout the years’ MSC OBA UK have helped the College in Negombo, Sri Lanka by donating to various projects which enrich the lives of the younger generation. IT equipment for the computer lab and musical instruments for the College band to name a few of the most recent contributions. In addition the MSC OBA is also the main sponsor for the College Sports association. The MSC OBA UK Branch was founded in the year 2000 and affiliated to the parent body of the OBA in Sri Lanka. They carryout annual events to their members in the UK which include the Dinner Dance , a Family Funday, Cricket Big Match with Holy Cross College and the Christmas Mass. The MSC OBA are also active participants in Festival of Football and Festival of Cricket in the UK. Some of the key events carried out throughout the years’ have proved to be very successful . The MSC OBA UK thank to all their sponsors, guests , members and their families for the continued support. Music for this year’s dance was provided by Exceed and the guest artist Keerthi Pasquel, with over 300 guests and members which went on till 2 am has already proved to be a huge success.
