The six Class 56s, bought by EMR Kingsbury are now on site after their journey from Healey Mills, via Doncaster. Load Haul liveried 56116 along with Engineers 56048 are sitting behind a line of four 56s – 56068 (EWS) and Transrail Grey 56079, 56033 and 56056. Filmed from a bank adjacent a park in Kingsbury and the Burton line on 24th January 2010. RIP.

@davehowe Hello Dave. Totally agree – the 56 might look like a rounded off 47 but they sound great. Would love to see more of them on revenue earning service. All the best, mate.
Sad thing is there still sat there waiting for the gas torch. Shame they can’t be put back on the rails add some variety to the otherwise bland fleet of sheds you regularly see, personally I’d love to see the 56’s and the 58’s put back to use
